Vegan Fashion Soars Higher as Dr. Martens and Marc Jacobs Team Up

Vegan Fashion continues to make a name in the mainstream market as footwear giant Dr. Martens has collaborated with Marc Jacobs to launch a vegan 1460 boot. This pair of boots is one of the iconic boots of the Dr. Martens brand. The collaborative design of Marc Jacobs with the shoe company puts a twist to the cherry-red oxford colored shoes. It now features vegan-friendly stitching, a vegan heel-loop, and quite a unique set of chains and charms.

Dr. Martens said in an online statement that Marc Jacobs is a true artist who brilliantly added a unique and outspoken touch to his fashion designs. The statement said, "There's no exception with this unique collaboration. Draped with replicas of custom-made charms on a vegan-friendly upper, the imaginative designer delivers without creative compromise."

The shoe company continues its journey in the vegan fashion because last year their profit skyrocketed to 70 percent more in terms because of their vegan collection of boots. They were awarded Best Vegan Boot Collection in PETA's Fashion Awards.
